I strongly believe that one of the most important and stressful situations in one's life is changing jobs. When at the end of the summer I realised that the time had come for me to make such a radical change, I felt excitement, but also great anxiety. It was truly wonderful, however, that in this ordeal I found an incredible ally, a wonderful person and an excellent professional - Jessica! Applying online for a position advertised by Yolk Recruitment, Jessica was quick to inform me within hours that the position had already been filled. Nevertheless, she asked me to send her my CV to see if there was another position that might interest me. I sent my CV and the next day Jessica contacted me to discuss my qualifications, exactly what I was looking for and what was available on the job market. We spoke on the phone and it was really like I was talking to a person I had known for a long time. The most important? She actively listened to what I had to say and shortly before our conversation ended she had already offered me a position that covered exactly what I was looking for. I had talked to other recruiting agents by then, but only Jessica was able to understand that other potential employees are looking for career progression, some for a better salary, some for a better work-life balance, and so on. The recruitment agency representatives I had contacted until then only told me about money, money, money... With Jessica's help within 10 days I had applied for a job, had an interview and was successfully hired for a role that was exactly what I was looking for at this stage in my life!
